As you approach Princeville, the lookout will be on the mauka (mountain) side of the road, just past the Princeville Shopping Center. There’s a designated pullout area where you can park your vehicle safely while you take in the views. Be careful exiting the Hanalei Valley Lookout, and be patient, there will be room for you to safely venture down to Hanalei or back to Princeville or south!
